Step by step

Back country hiking and the "blog-o'sphere".  Two things that I have limited experience in but, have gained an opportunity to exercise my abilities. So, I will begin this blog and learning the Blogger platform at the same time that I will begin to fully appreciate what I have gotten myself into with embarking on a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail.  I hope that I don't disappoint my reader (or myself) in saying that "this, should be interesting".
